What about those other combinations I keep seeing?

The "alphabet soup" of orientation and gender identity can sometimes be confusing. In addition to LGBTS, you may see GLBT, LesBiGay, or even combinations with additional letters:

		Questioning, Queer
		Inquiring, Intersexed or Intersexual
		Same Gender Loving (used primarily in the African American community)
		Straight But Not Narrow (yes, it's real)

Various contributors to our community may use different abbreviations according to their preferences.
